I thought that this was a smart solution to a difficult visual problem but I didn’t feel that it had been successfully executed. I would not have placed it at all.

An intelligent and successful way of telling a story that reaches back in time. A great effort to emulate the sense of place and mood of when crimes happened almost 50years ago was achieved through careful planning and editing.

Murder in Mississippi is a successful solution to the challenge of taking the reader back in history.
