2nd Place: Harley's Heroes; The Times's Fred R. Conrad describes the Harley Race Wrestling Academy in Eldon, Mo., as a scene you'd expect to see on a black and white television.
Judge's Comments (Margarita): This story offers a different way of looking at traditional B+W photography with the photographer’s technical conquest. The story has a strong edit of images that are both portrait-like and journalistic covering the relation between the fans and the athletes.
